The My Mailman Was A Zombie quest in Dead Island 2 is one that gives you the chance to grab a unique assault rifle by opening a Special Delivery container located in Bel-Air. So, here's how to complete the quest in order to obtain the Mailman's Keys, receive the gun and take down LA's hordes of zombies with this unique weapon in hand.

Dead Island 2 has a series of Lost and Found quests, each of which tasks you with tracking down specific zombies by following clues across the game's different regions. Once the particular zombie is located, you can typically kill them to grab a key and open a special container with a new weapon.

The Dead Island 2 My Mailman Was A Zombie quest can be a tough one to work out though, so if you need a helping hand to locate the Mailman's Keys, we've got you covered.

Early on during your playthrough of the game when you're still in Bel-Air, you will come across a mail truck with a container outside that requires Dead Island 2 Mailman's keys to open.

At this point in the game, when you first encounter this Special Delivery container, you won't be able to start the associated quest to find the Mailman's keys and open it. For now, just keep progressing through the game until you have unlocked Venice Beach and fast travel.

With fast travel now unlocked, you can head back to Bel-Air during the day, and if you travel back to the Special Container, you will find a journal entry nearby called Signature Required. Picking this up with begin the My Mailman Was A Zombie quest.

The quest tasks you with finding the location of the mailman by using the journal you picked up, as it contains his delivery route and highlights three houses in Bel-Air where he went to deliver mail.

Once you have started the My Mailman Was A Zombie quest, here are the steps you need to take to finish it and grab the keys in Dead Island 2:

First, make your way to 70 Alpine Drive, which is located at the very top of Bel-Air, near where you first entered the location after the prologue. Interact with the mail that can be found here next to the gate.

Next, travel to the second location at 143 Glitterati Corner, which is just around the corner from the entrance to Beverly Hills. Interact with the mail here too, found just outside the gate.

Finally, make your way to 59 Alpine Drive, which is the Goat Pen house you already will have visited a couple of times prior to this point. In the driveway, you can now find Wayne The Mailman, letting you kill him to get the Dead Island 2 Mailman's keys.

With the Mailman's keys collected, you can head back to the Special Delivery container and open it to get the unique Raven assault rifle. This will also finish the May Mailman Was A Zombie mission, letting you tick off another one of the Lost and Found quests.
