BUFFALO, N.Y. — A serious fire at a commercial storage building on Ohio Street in Buffalo resulted in a partial collapse of the building Sunday morning.
Smoke and flames could be seen billowing from the structure located at 710 Ohio Street around 3 a.m.

According to a spokesperson for the Buffalo Fire Department the fire was confined to the storage building, which sustained significant damage leading to a partial collapse.
Initial damage estimates have been set at $1 million for the structure and $500,000 for its contents, officials said.
There were no reported injuries.
State records indicate the storage building is owned by 710 Ohio Street Group LLC. A city spokesperson confirmed with 2 On Your Side that the building is City of Buffalo property.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
