New Hart modular home community celebrating grand opening this weekend

Jun 06, 2023Jun 06, 2023

A new community has just moved into the Hart Highway.

Pine Ridge Modular, a family-owned Kelowna-based housing company, is moving their new-age modular homes into a lot on 2737 Redfield Place.

Phil Sensenig, the manager and owner of Pine Ridge, cut the ribbon on the official opening this afternoon (Friday).

"We all know how crazy the housing crisis is in BC and Canada," he told My PG Now after the opening. "We are just here to do our little part and provide as many affordable homes as we can."

The modular homes come at a range of prices, Sensenig said depending on the model they sell for between $240,000 and $420,000.

"The advantage to the modular homes are obviously the timeline – you can get one relatively quick, relatively affordable, and the quality is still second to none," he said.

He said the eight-home lot in the Hart was installed in 7-8 months.

There was a private opening for media and partners this afternoon, but Pine Ridge is inviting the community out tomorrow (Saturday) from 11:00am until 6:00pm.

There will be food and beer, home tours, and live music for guests who stop by.
